What have you learned from the past year of your life? How have you changed? Have there been ups and downs? A curve ball or two thrown at you? How did you move forward from any upsets? What has made you stronger eventually even though you never thought you'd survive it initially?
What fills you with joy? Have you found it yet? Are you looking for it? Is it hard to attain? Is it easy to take for granted?
What do you think it all means? Do you feel you have purpose in your life? Do you feel you have fulfilled that or are working towards it? What's your main desire in life? What would be your one wish? The one thing you want for yourself, above all?
This life. It's confusing, it's disorienting, it's overwhelming. It's funny, it's exhilarating, it's intimidating. It's amusing, yet deterring. It's amazing, yet horrendous. It's check all the boxes, all of the above, a million things at the same time to a several billion different people.
It's love and hate. It's elation and utter desolation. It's privileged and destitute. It's both sides of the coin, all numbers of the dice, every possible outcome strung across an almost unfathomable amount of lives.
Each person you see walk past you on the street has their own story, their own lives they're going about, their own worries to fret over, their own warm thoughts and feelings and memories to reflect on.
Every individual has separate circumstances, and yet, compared to one another, can correlate without much or any force at all.
Maybe the reason why we're here is to learn from each other. And even if it isn't, it wouldn't hurt to harbour some help along the way.
And so, this blog is formed. With the intention of sharing thoughts and stories, realizations and confessions, life lessons and personal truths- mainly from myself (the 'founder,' if you will) but others too- in hopes of relating to its readers. In hopes of becoming a safe place for the dumped, the struggling, the emotional, the curious, the inexperienced, the over experienced, the wonderers and the wanderers… A place to help you deal with whatever this life has happened to throw at you next. It's even a place for a good laugh or two, because an unfortunate situation always has the potential to turn hilarious with time. ;P
So, follow/subscribe/bookmark- whatever you have to do to keep in touch with this blog- to read articles, posts, interviews, and I'm sure even more, from different perspectives about the same things we all go through.
